Gauteng police admit they still haven't caught the guy wanted for killing a Zimbabwean man in Sandton, nine months after he was apparently run over repeatedly by a Ford Ranger. The victim, Emmanuel Mahamba, died in April after an altercation in Rivonia that was caught on video and blew up online. Cops say the person of interest is a man named Ali Mugoya, also called Arizona, who they claim is on the run.
The whole thing supposedly started over some love triangle drama involving Mahamba, Mugoya, and a woman connected to the suspect. The fight got out of hand and ended with Mahamba dead. Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo confirmed they identified Mugoya from those social media images, but have failed to make an arrest, even though the case caused a major uproar. They're still looking for him.
