Taiyeb cites youth as engine of digital transformation at Dhaka tech summit

Faiz Ahmed Taiyeb addressed delegates at the L3AD.net Digital Innovation Summit 2025 held at Hotel Sonargaon. The Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser highlighted how young people represent sixty percent of Bangladesh's population and drive digital progress. The government develops comprehensive ICT sector strategies to enhance workforce skills and productivity. Taiyeb outlined major programs spanning infrastructure development, startup funding, cybersecurity measures, and emerging policies for artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and blockchain technology.

Officials plan to create ten innovation centers through partnerships with universities nationwide. Bangladesh will launch a project to preserve literary and cultural heritage in digital formats for Bengali language artificial intelligence development. Taiyeb encouraged institutions, researchers, and technology leaders to participate in upcoming policy creation processes. The summit attracted prominent figures from the digital sectors and technology companies. Attendees represented organizations such as BIMRAD, BluePie Solutions, Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited, and various tech enterprises.
