Public Prosecutors boss Renson Ingonga won an award at the Digital Transformation Public Sector Awards 2025 held in Mombasa. He took second place as CEO of the Year. The award honored his work launching the Uadilifu Case Management System.
After receiving his award, Ingonga said his office plans to keep improving digital services. He strongly believes in making changes through technology, and his office aims to lead the way for other government departments.
The Uadilifu system has changed how prosecutors handle cases. It helps them work much faster with less paper, and cases move through the system more quickly than before. It has also made working with courts easier, especially when filing charges. Ingonga promised to spread this system across the whole country.
Information Minister William Kabogo ran the event. He said the government will start using less paper for official business. This fits with making more services digital.
Judges picked Ingonga from six finalists. The selection team included people from both public and private sectors. Kenya Revenue Authority also won for its Tax Amnesty program. Kenya Reinsurance Corporation was praised for cyber security training. The Immigration Department got an award for its smart immigration hub.
These awards honor government groups that use technology to serve people better. The first awards happened last year.
Ingonga has earned several honors lately. Last year, African prosecutors chose him as president of their group at a meeting in Morocco. Just two months ago, President William Ruto gave him the Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear award.
