Taylor Swift tosses ex's king piece at screaming fans

Taylor Swift set multiple sales records after releasing The Life Of A Showgirl album, which sold 2.7 million copies across all formats within 24 hours and 1.2 million vinyl copies on its first day. The vinyl figure surpassed her previous record of 859,000 copies from The Tortured Poets Department, while overall sales trailed only Adele's 25 album from 2015. Swift offered 23 physical configurations, and lead single The Life Of Ophelia broke streaming records on Spotify and Apple Music.

Her theatrical release party event earned $33 million domestically and $46 million globally while screening exclusively at AMC Theatres for three days. The cinema presentation combined music videos, behind-the-scenes content, and lyric videos, anchored by the debut of The Fate Of Ophelia music video. Rapper 50 Cent praised the album after Swift referenced his song in Ruin The Friendship, calling himself a Swiftie on social media.
