Mourners gathered on Monday at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Rowland Heights to honor 14-year-old Celeste Rivas, whose body was found earlier this year in the front trunk of a Tesla. Family members and friends attended the emotional service to bid farewell to the teenager.
Rivas’ remains were discovered last month inside a car registered to singer D4vd, which had been left outside a rental property in the Hollywood Hills. Workers at a tow yard found her body days after the vehicle was impounded. Authorities said she had been dead for several weeks before the discovery. She had been reported missing in early 2024 from her home in Lake Elsinore, California.
Following the incident, D4vd canceled his tour, postponed his album release, and left the Hollywood residence. Police later executed a search warrant at the property, but the singer has not made any public appearances since.
As the investigation continues, Rivas’ family and friends gathered to grieve and celebrate her memory while awaiting answers about the circumstances of her death.
