Police report a teenager died Easter Sunday after a fight at a bar in Kihogo Trading Centre. Denis Mucunguzi, 18, was at Vegas Bar with other people when another man named Victor accused him of stealing a phone. The theft claim started a fight that made the bar owner kick both men out.
Mucunguzi tried to run away, but Victor followed him into a corridor. Victor came back shortly after and told his cousin Gloria to leave, but she refused because she wanted her phone back. Victor left on a motorcycle with another woman. People later found Mucunguzi dead, lying in blood in the corridor.
The victim's brother informed local leaders, who called police about the murder. Officers visited the scene, talked to witnesses, and took the body for medical examination. Police arrested Gloria to help with their investigation. Victor and other suspects have not been caught.
