Thirteen federal agency heads in Nigeria just won some online poll thing organized by The Street Journal, and the list is pretty stacked with big names. Aisha Rimi from the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission grabbed top honors, while Gbenga Komolafe at the petroleum regulatory body and Usman Bamanga Jada from the Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority also made the cut. Other winners ranged from the EFCC chairman to folks running everything from student loans to identity management.
The publisher said these people got the most votes out of like 50 agency heads who were up for consideration. Each winner got some weirdly specific title attached to their award, and they're all getting honored at a ceremony in Abuja next year. Five cabinet ministers who won a separate poll will also show up to collect their trophies at the same event.
