Todimu Adegoke lands EFM spot, global stage awaits

Nigerian filmmaker Todimu Adegoke got a spot in a big-deal international program. He's joining the European Film Market Toolbox Programme, which happens during the Berlinale. He didn't apply directly. An industry vet named Joy Efe Odiete, who runs Blue Pictures Entertainment, picked him for it.

This program is basically a career accelerator for producers worldwide. It mixes online stuff with time in Berlin for meetings. Participants get mentorship and learn how to navigate the global film business. The idea is to hook them up with buyers and possible partners from other countries.

For Adegoke, this means access to a higher level of industry connections. It sets him up to work on more international projects. His nomination itself is a signal, showing that established players in African cinema see his potential. The program aims to shape the next wave of producers who can operate on a global scale.
