Tottenham rout as Sarr, Bergwijn sink ten-man West Ham in London

Tottenham secured a commanding win against West Ham United during the Premier League's fourth matchday. The Spurs dominated with a decisive three-goal margin at their home ground. Pape Sarr broke the deadlock just after halftime with a well-taken strike in the 47th minute. West Ham faced additional difficulty when Soucek received a red card eight minutes later, leaving his team short-handed. The numerical advantage allowed Tottenham to capitalize quickly through Lucas Bergwijn's effort two minutes after the dismissal.

Mickey van de Ven completed the scoring with seven minutes remaining in the contest. The comprehensive victory elevated Tottenham to nine points from four matches, placing them temporarily in second position in the league table. West Ham's struggles continued as they remained on three points, leaving them in the relegation zone at eighteenth place. The London club demonstrated superior quality throughout the match, particularly after gaining the extra player advantage.
