The official spoke in Arusha where he revealed the agency collected over eighteen trillion shillings between July and December to smash their original targets thanks to digital upgrades. Omar noted that December alone saw the highest monthly haul in history. He credited these numbers to strict policies enforced under President Samia Suluhu Hassan which streamlined how the state extracts cash from the economy.
