Tridha Choudhury dodges nude scenes to protect her career

An actress explained turning down certain roles for major career reasons. Tridha Choudhury said she avoided a Hollywood project requiring nude scenes, knowing it could block future work in Bollywood and typecast her. She believes accessing international opportunities is possible without that compromise, unwilling to risk her entire journey for one part.

Choudhury started in Bengali cinema before gaining notice on TV shows like Dahleez. She later took on intense roles in series such as Aashram and Bandish Bandits. Her recent move into comedy with the film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 was a deliberate script choice, not a pivot from bold characters. She views all performance, whether action or romance, as acting, but sees comedy as a unique challenge she is still learning.
