Trump claims Maduro captured, Venezuela cries foul

President Trump posted on Truth Social that America snagged Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. This update claims federal law enforcement executed a strike to grab the leader and spouse before flying them out of Venezuela. Speaking from Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Trump bragged about the troops planning this mission.

Vice President Delcy Rodríguez went on state TV demanding proof of life since nobody knows where the guy is located. Panic followed blasts near a Caracas base, causing an emergency across Miranda, Aragua, and La Guaira. Officials slammed the events as imperialist attacks while urging citizens to rally.

Tensions spiked when the State Department labeled the regime a narco-terrorist state. The Pentagon stacked Caribbean assets while operatives reportedly drone-struck a port. Washington squeezed oil revenue, seizing tankers headed for Asia. Agencies claimed the target ran a drug syndicate called Cartel de los Soles despite analysts doubting the group exists.

If they actually cared about the drugs coming in, Trump wouldn't have pardoned a drug trafficker. It's not about the drugs. Oil. And maybe making some noise so other things are not spoken about.

The excuse used is that Venezuela is producing and sending drugs. That's quite a lot of nonsense. Another excuse used all around is that it's a dictatorship. That's true, but it's been true for a bunch of years, so why now? The U.S. is not taking down a dictator out of its goodwill.
