Tsholotsho manhunt after beer dispute turns deadly

Zimbabwe police have initiated a search for a 33-year-old man accused of fatally stabbing his drinking companion following a dispute over spilled beer. Mehluli Moyo allegedly attacked 22-year-old Luckmore Nhliziyo with an okapi knife multiple times on Thursday in Tsholotsho, according to national police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi. The victim died at the scene after the argument escalated from the accidental beverage spillage.

Moyo remains at large after fleeing the location. Authorities are requesting that residents report any information about his whereabouts to local police stations. The incident highlights how rapidly social situations can turn violent, leaving the victim's family in mourning while law enforcement continues its efforts to apprehend the suspect.
