Domestic Violence Claims Life in Kibera, Multiple Deaths Reported Across Kenya.

A domestic dispute turned deadly in Kibera, Nairobi, when a man killed his wife during an argument on Sunday night. Agnes Wetunga, 54, a Ugandan national, died after her husband struck her head. Police found her body on their bed with a forehead wound and blood coming from her mouth. Officers arrested the husband as they investigated the murder charge.

A tragic electrocution in Kibra's Gatwekera area killed Pamela Phoebe Otiende, 44. She rushed to help her daughter, who touched a live wire on their clothesline. Emergency teams took both to Coptic Hospital. Doctors pronounced the mother dead upon arrival. The daughter remains in stable condition. Police report frequent electrocution cases in informal settlements.

In Kiambu County, Rhoda Wanjiru, 55, died at her home in Kingeero. Medical staff at Wangige Level Five Hospital declared her dead after she arrived. Her body awaits examination at Kihara Hospital mortuary.

Another death occurred in Nyeri's Wambugu Farm area. Mugure Wairimu collapsed after reporting severe chest pains. She died upon reaching Outspan Hospital Nyeri. Officials plan an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
