Tudor laments Juve's missed chances in Madrid loss

Juventus manager Igor Tudor said his players felt they merited at least one goal after falling 1-0 to Real Madrid in Champions League group stage action. The Croatian coach praised his squad's early resolve but acknowledged individual brilliance from Vinicius Junior created the decisive moment when Jude Bellingham converted the rebound. Tudor explained that defenders hesitated to challenge aggressively near the penalty area from fear of conceding a spot kick.

The manager asked his team to display greater assertiveness and noted improvement in that area. Tudor said every player must embrace leadership responsibilities as the club integrates new arrivals and replaces departed veterans. He accepted current limitations but expressed satisfaction with the overall showing despite leaving empty-handed from Santiago Bernabeu.
