Authorities detained two suspects following separate homicides in Harare and Masvingo that originated from minor confrontations. Police apprehended Luckman Kamangile after passenger Amos Karumba died from injuries sustained during an argument over small change following a commuter taxi ride in Ruwa's Walter Mukamba neighborhood. The 40-year-old victim had paid his dollar fare but perished after the 27-year-old driver struck him during the dispute over currency.
Investigators also arrested Kainos Masekesa at Mkwasine's Mackyey Compound after his spouse, Trish Sithembile Masaiti, succumbed to assault injuries. The 32-year-old suspect allegedly attacked the 20-year-old woman with multiple objects during a domestic altercation centered on suspected adultery.
