A University of Alabama at Birmingham linebacker faces attempted murder and aggravated assault charges after authorities say he attacked two fellow players with a knife inside the team facility. Daniel Israel Mincey, 20, was taken into custody following the violent episode that left both victims hospitalized in stable condition with wounds not considered life-threatening.
