UCAA pledges changes to Entebbe lounge after public criticism of design

Uganda's airport authority caved to angry travelers who trashed their fancy new business lounge online. Social media users ripped apart the furniture colors and weird layout at Entebbe International Airport. Aviation officials admitted people hated the look of the Karibuni Business Lounge after it opened last week. The authority promised to force the private company running the lounge to make changes fast. Public complaints poured across Facebook and Twitter about how ugly the place looked.

The transport minister cut the ribbon on the upgraded lounge just days ago. Karibuni Lounge company designed and furnished the entire space without asking travelers what they wanted. Airport bosses said they take full blame for letting the private operator make such bad choices. Officials vowed to listen better to passenger feedback about future projects. The authority admitted they should have checked the design before letting it open.

The new lounge added baby changing rooms, prayer areas, and massage chairs for weary passengers. Smoking zones and super fast internet came with the renovation project. Seating jumped from 160 spots to 300 chairs for business travelers. Despite all these improvements, people still complained about how terrible everything looked. Aviation officials learned that fancy features mean nothing when the place looks cheap and tacky.
