UDA mourns death of beloved legislator

The United Democratic Alliance party expressed sorrow about County Assembly Member Julius Keter's death. Keter served as Majority Whip and represented the Chemundu/Kapngetuny ward until he died on April 12. The party called him a dedicated supporter in their message to his family.

UDA sent his sympathy to everyone affected by his passing, including his relatives, constituents, and all Nandi County residents. Speaker Philemon Melly said Keter had been sick for three weeks before dying at Fountain Hospital in Eldoret around 8:30 Saturday morning. Melly described him as a legend who truly served his community with dedication.

Keter first won the election as a ward representative in 2022. County Governor Stephen Sang also shared his condolences with the family. He remembered Keter as both a colleague and friend whose humble leadership made a difference. The governor mentioned how firmly Keter pushed for development projects during assembly sessions.
