Uganda increased its medal tally to nine at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh after Samuel Simba Cherop and Abel Chebet finished among the top three competitors in the men's 10,000 meters at Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Stadium. Chebet secured bronze while organizers are reviewing the positions for gold and silver following an incident where Bahrain's Birhanu Balew allegedly obstructed Cherop during the final stretch.
