Ukaegbu vows Enyimba will bounce back from slump

Enyimba's caretaker manager, Lawrence Ukaegbu, vowed his struggling squad will reverse their downward spiral after absorbing a third consecutive winless outing against Katsina United. The nine-time domestic champions surrendered a defeat in Ilorin, leaving the interim boss frustrated over squandered opportunities on neutral territory despite his belief that the performance merited points.

Ukaegbu pinpointed inadequate injury time compensation as a decisive factor undermining their comeback efforts, though he acknowledged the team must intensify preparations ahead of their upcoming showdown with Rangers. The Aba powerhouse faces mounting pressure to rediscover winning form after recent stumbles have threatened its campaign momentum.
