Unbelievable New Year Magic at Harare's Rainbow Towers

At the heart of Harare, the Rainbow Towers Hotel turned into a dazzling wonderland on New Year's Eve. The Celestial Chorus Volume 2 Soirée brought together 3,000 guests to welcome 2025 in grand style.

The night began with a spectacular drone show lighting up the sky. It displayed images of President Mnangagwa, businessman Kuda Tagwireyi, and the Seventh Day Adventist logo, ending with bright New Year wishes for all.

Inside, the hotel sparkled like London's famous Harrods. Kevin Zhou, known as "Kevin—The Wedding Planner," spent a year crafting this black-and-white celebration. Fresh flowers filled the air with sweet scents, and music played softly in the background.

The menu delighted guests with both local and world flavors. Chef Dananai served Japanese Wagyu beef, local Kudu meat, and special dishes from Zurich for vegan guests. Each plate looked like art, making dinner talk flow easily at every table.

Gospel music stars lit up the stage. Janet Manyowa, Everton Mlalazi, and many others sang beloved SDA hymns. Mlalazi played host for the night, keeping everyone entertained. Guests came from far places - the US, Australia, Zambia, and South Africa joined the fun.

The event planner, Rumbidzai Matinanga, made sure every detail felt special. White drapes hung from the ceiling, and candles made everything glow. Tables held beautiful flower arrangements mixing local blooms with exotic ones.

Dr. Kudakwashe Tagwireyi, the event's patron, spoke strongly about youth and democracy. He asked young people to stand up and make their voices heard. "Be a friend to all and enemy to none," he said, hoping everyone would help make good history.

Even village elders joined the fancy party. They stayed in hotel rooms and dressed in striking outfits, adding a touch of elegance to the night. The event showed how music and culture can bring people together, proving that good things can happen anywhere—even at the Rainbow Towers.

The party cost thousands of dollars, but it gave guests something priceless - memories that will last forever. Under the theme "Bridging Gap," it proved that celebrations can unite communities and create joy that stays long after the music stops.
