School Children Will Soon Learn Their Exam Results.
The people who check students' tests in Uganda have good news. They will tell everyone how the students did on their big tests very soon this February.
The testing office made an exciting announcement. They shared a message saying, "The wait is over," and told everyone the test scores were almost ready.
This year was special because students took two different kinds of tests. Some students took a brand new type of test that Uganda made for its schools. Other students took the old kind of test they always had before.
Jennifer Kalule works at the testing office. She helped run both tests at the same time, which had never happened before. Many students worked hard on these tests. 369,601 students tried the new test, and 10,147 students took the old test. Altogether, 379,748 young people finished their exams.
The testing office wants to share the results this week. Everyone is excited to find out how well the students did on both the new and old tests.
