Unreleased Ryzen 9000G APU Shows Strong iGPU Performance

A mystery AMD processor appeared in recent benchmark tests that likely belongs to the upcoming Ryzen 9000G desktop series. The unnamed chip carries product ID 100-000001868-30_Y and features powerful integrated graphics based on RDNA 3.5 architecture. FurMark stress testing software pushed the processor's graphics component through demanding workloads at different resolutions.

The integrated graphics scored 1097 points at 1440p resolution, matching performance levels of AMD's Radeon 780M graphics chip. At 4K resolution, the mystery processor managed 542 points, falling about 5 percent behind the Radeon 780M's 566 points. These results suggest the tested chip may not represent the most powerful model AMD plans for the Ryzen 9000G lineup.

The graphics portion reached speeds above 3.1 GHz during testing, surpassing the 3.0 GHz boost clock of AMD's current Radeon 890M graphics. Power consumption peaked at 47 watts during 1440p testing and 50 watts at 4K resolution. AMD expects to release the Ryzen 9000G desktop processors during the fourth quarter, bringing Zen 5 processing cores paired with advanced integrated graphics to desktop computers.
