America gave Ghana 14 armored vehicles to help protect the country. The US handed these special trucks to the Ghana Armed Forces at a ceremony in Burma Camp. US Ambassador Virginia Palmer said these vehicles matter because danger grows near Ghana's northern borders. She promised America will keep supporting Ghana with security help.
Defense Minister Edward Boamah thanked the American people for their gift. He said Ghana will take good care of these vehicles for many years. The military plans to use them against terrorists and during peace missions. These trucks arrive as safety worries increase across West Africa. Ghana faces more threats from nearby countries with fighting problems.
