Drug Cops Graduates Get Fiery Charge To Clean Up Ghana

Interior Minister Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak told new drug agents Wednesday at their graduation ceremony to stay strong against illegal drugs. He spoke to recruits at the Narcotics Control Commission training center located at Nutekpor. The minister said their badges represent hope and should never be used for bad actions. He promised to give them the tools and support they need to do their jobs well. Mohammed-Mubarak warned the new agents to fight corruption and keep their promises honest.

The minister praised teachers and staff for training the recruits properly through tough courses. New agents learned about drug crimes, finding fake documents, and security work during their training. They studied drug science and how to spot criminals through special methods. Mohammed-Mubarak said citizens should feel safe because these agents will protect Ghana from drug dealers. He told the new officers to serve with honor and remember their duty protects the country's future.
