Usyk cements legacy with devastating knockout of Dubois at Wembley

Oleksandr Usyk delivered a devastating knockout performance against Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium in London. The Ukrainian boxer maintained his undefeated record while capturing his third undisputed world championship. Usyk demonstrated superior technique during the fifth round by landing a precise right hook that sent Dubois to the canvas. The British fighter recovered from the first knockdown but succumbed to a perfectly timed left hook that left him unable to continue. Officials stopped the contest when Dubois failed to beat the referee's count.

The 38-year-old champion became overwhelmed with emotion following his victory. Usyk had previously defeated Dubois in 2023 before facing Tyson Fury twice for heavyweight supremacy. Dubois entered the rematch with renewed confidence after his recent knockout victory over Anthony Joshua. The London-based fighter acknowledged his opponent's superiority while promising to return stronger. Usyk expressed his desire to return home to his family after completing this chapter of his boxing career.
