Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation received a fresh board of directors. Information Minister Dr Jenfan Muswere made the announcement through General Notice 1186 of 2025. The appointments follow guidelines from the Public Entities Corporate Governance Act. Each member will serve for four years. Veteran broadcaster Helliate Rushwaya leads the team as chairperson.
Advocate Tapson Dzvetero serves as deputy chairperson. The board features several experienced professionals from different fields. Members are Mr Chipo Nheta, Dr Henry Mukono, Dr Nanette Silukhuni, Mr Charles Munganasa, and Ms Precious Charandura. Additional appointees are Mr Thandolwenkosi Nkomo, Professor Sibongile Mpofu, Dr Queen Mpofu, Mr Amon Matambo, Ms Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa, and Mr Martin Kweza. The diverse group brings various skills to guide the broadcasting corporation.
