Virtual Hospital Stuns Zimbabwe with Digital Health

A big phone company in Zimbabwe called NetOne wants to help people see doctors through computers. They built a special health room in Chirumhanzu South. People can talk to doctors through screens without going far away.

This new health room joins many others around Zimbabwe. There are 22 places where people can see doctors through computers. The wife of Zimbabwe's leader, Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa, helped make this happen. She wants everyone to have good doctors, even if they live far from big hospitals.

Learnmore Musunda, who runs NetOne, said this new way of seeing doctors helps many people. They can talk to doctors without traveling long distances. Dr. Admore Jokwiro agreed this makes life better for people who live in villages. He runs a group called Zim Smart Village, which works with NetOne to help sick people.

Barbara Rwodzi, an important leader in Zimbabwe, came to see the new health room. She told people living nearby to use it when they need help. She believes these computer doctor rooms will make Zimbabwe better. The country wants all its people to be healthy and have good lives by the year 2030. This new way of seeing doctors helps make that dream come true.
