West Ham sets sale-only ultimatum for Nayef Aguerd

West Ham United refuses to consider another loan arrangement for Moroccan defender Nayef Aguerd during the current transfer window. The club will only accept permanent transfer offers for the international player. Aguerd returned to London after spending the previous campaign with Real Sociedad on a temporary deal that proved unsuccessful. Manager Graham Potter anticipated receiving concrete bids from interested clubs following the team's defensive reinforcements this summer. The Hammers have yet to receive any formal proposals for Aguerd's services.

Real Sociedad previously expressed interest but failed to submit an official purchase offer despite their earlier involvement with the player. West Ham management maintains firm opposition to any loan agreements for the defender. The club expects Aguerd to remain with the squad temporarily while the transfer market continues. Potter's team completed several defensive additions during recent weeks. Aguerd faces an uncertain future as potential suitors evaluate their options before the window closes.
