Whoops - Intel's drivers leak plans to smoke AMD's FSR

Driver code analysis reveals that Intel may be developing Multi-Frame Generation capabilities for its XeSS upscaling platform. A Reddit community member discovered references to MFG functionality within Arc graphics processing unit software files. This technology currently exists only within NVIDIA RTX 50 series graphics cards through the implementation of DLSS 4. Intel launched XeSS 2 alongside Battlemage Arc B-Series hardware last year to compete with established upscaling solutions. The company has remained silent about official Multi-Frame Generation development plans.

NVIDIA provides multiple MFG performance modes ranging from 2x to 4x frame multiplication rates. Intel previously explored Frame Extrapolation techniques before adopting conventional Frame Interpolation methods for XeSS 2 release. AMD simultaneously develops FSR Redstone updates to enhance competitive positioning. Graphics manufacturers continue advancing upscaling technologies for gaming performance improvements. Intel Arc driver code suggests potential Multi-Frame Generation integration despite lacking corporate confirmation.
