Windward tops $300M at South Bank TCI

The developer Windward has announced that sales at its South Bank resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands have exceeded 300 million US dollars. This waterfront community, the first of its kind in the region, comprises four distinct neighborhoods, including the Ocean Estates and a development called Arc.

Arc, a six-story residential project designed by the renowned Italian architect Piero Lissoni, recently celebrated its topping-out ceremony. Ingo Reckhorn, a Windward co-founder, stated that the strong buyer response validated their vision for a world-class community. The project represents Lissoni's first completed work in the Caribbean.

Joe Zahm of TCI Sotheby's Realty reported that the design-forward residences and direct water access were key sales drivers. The surpassing of the 300 million dollar sales mark ahead of schedule was attributed to the quality of the development and the strength of the local luxury market.
