The party also confirmed new leadership appointments during its National Governing Council meeting. Oburu Odinga was approved as the party leader, with several deputies including Abdulswamad Nassir, Simba Arati, and Geoffrey Osoti. Other appointments included Ruth Odinga as Deputy Organising Secretary and Rosa Buyu as Secretary of Political Affairs. These new leaders will assume their roles pending final ratification by the party's National Delegates Convention.
