Xpanceo bags $250m, Opportunity Venture Asia backs Axelrod smart lens

XPANCEO just became a unicorn company after raising 250 million dollars from investors. The tech startup hit a massive 1.35 billion dollar valuation with their latest funding round. Opportunity Venture from Asia led the investment after backing the company earlier with 40 million dollars. The money will help finish their revolutionary smart contact lenses that work like tiny computers. These special lenses can show virtual reality images right inside your eyes.

The contact lenses do amazing things that sound like science fiction. They can monitor your health problems and check blood sugar levels through your tears. The lenses also give people night vision powers and zoom features for seeing far away. Users can experience augmented reality without wearing bulky headsets or glasses. The company wants to replace all phones and gadgets with just one invisible device.

Roman Axelrod and Dr. Valentyn Volkov started XPANCEO and built 15 different prototypes over two years. Their team grew from 50 smart scientists to 100 experts working in advanced laboratories. The founders work with top universities around the world to create new materials and technology. They published 110 research papers and won 24 international awards for their inventions. The smart lens market could be worth 750 billion dollars within ten years.
