You Won't Believe the Success Behind Dishi na County

Eight kitchens in Nairobi just turned one year old. They are part of a program called Dishi na County. The program fights hunger and helps kids eat better. Governor Johnson Sakaja went to a party at one of the kitchens, Muthangari Primary School.

Governor Sakaja ate with the students there. He said the eight kitchens are very important. They have served over eight million meals in just one year. The kitchens are in different schools all over Nairobi.

The governor thanked all the people who work in the kitchens, including cooks, drivers, managers, and cleaners. He said they had done a great job.

Thanks to the kitchens, more kids are going to school now. Governor Sakaja is very happy about that. He cheered, "Good job! Let the kids eat and learn!"
