South African Amapiano artist Young Stunna will headline the Bulawayo Shutdown festival alongside compatriot hip-hop performer K.O. The musician, whose legal name is Sandile Fortune Msimango, has achieved recognition through tracks including Adiwele and songs featuring his distinctive vocal delivery characterized by rapid-fire phrasing.
Local performers scheduled to appear include Noluntu J, Fab G Mshanakagogo, Bhila, Ma9nine, Insimbi ZeZhwane, Silent Killer, Jnr Spragga, Hulengende, Chillmaster and Ngwere Diki. Regional disc jockeys Eugy, Nospa, Keezy and Prince Eskhosini will manage musical programming, with additional acts expected to be announced. Young Stunna has collaborated with producers DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small while contributing to cross-genre recordings.
