Your Pro Tools Just Got Hijacked by Splice

Avid released Pro Tools 2025.6 with direct access to Splice sample library. Musicians can browse millions of royalty-free sounds without leaving their recording session. The software uses smart technology to suggest samples that match audio already recorded. Pro Tools gives users over 2,500 free Splice samples but requires monthly payments for full access. Studio One added similar features last year as the first music program to work with Splice.

The new version adds speech recognition that turns spoken words into text automatically. Musicians can search audio files for specific lyrics or dialogue through transcript windows. Pro Tools improved its piano roll editor with better note labels and faster input monitoring. The program connects with Waves Sync Vx and Dreamtonics Synthesizer V for direct audio processing. These updates help producers stay focused on making music instead of switching between different programs.
