Zambezi Eagles Ready to Rule Sun City Netball Week

Zimbabwe's Zambezi Eagles netball team travels to South Africa for competition. The squad competes at Sun City from Friday through June 17. Coach Ropafadzo Mutsauki chose most players from the first tournament. Two new athletes joined the traveling group for these matches. The team prepares for the 2027 World Cup taking place in Australia.

Takadanaishe Zimusi and Androlla Munkuli earned spots on the roster. The Eagles face three opponents during their stay. Crinums, Flames and Fireballs provide competition for the visiting team. These games serve as practice before major tournaments. The squad competed at Power Week One from April 26 through May 4.

Sharon Bwanali captains the thirteen-player squad. Nicole Muzanenamo serves as her assistant leader. The team features experienced players from across the country. Athletes represent Zimbabwe's best netball talent. Officials selected this group to compete against regional teams and build experience for future competitions.
