Zanu PF empowers women in Manicaland with 10,000 chicks

The Zanu PF Women’s League has enhanced economic opportunities for women in Manicaland by distributing 10,000 road runner chicks. The initiative, led by Cde Mabel Chinomona, the Secretary for Women's Affairs and Senate President, took place at the Chiwetu Training Center in Makoni West. Women from all districts in the province received their share, aligning with Zanu PF and President Mnangagwa’s goal to empower women through economic projects.

Cde Chinomona emphasized the importance of expanding into large-scale poultry farming and called for young women to embrace leadership roles. She also announced a US$500,000 economic empowerment fund to support grassroots projects across the country. Dr. Jenfan Muswere, MP for Makoni West, highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to empower women and youth in the province.
