ZANU-PF shuffles deck as Mudenda grabs top job

Jacob Mudenda led the ZANU-PF Policy and Coordinating Meeting at party headquarters, directing discussions on internal administrative matters and preparedness for the 22nd Annual People's Conference in Mutare. The party appointed him Secretary-General on September 23, 2025, during a Politburo reshuffle that reorganized leadership positions. Mudenda moved up from Treasurer General, and Patrick Chinamasa assumed responsibility for party finances. Obert Mpofu shifted from the Secretary General role to Secretary for Information and Communication Technology.
