Zesco United in talks to sign Shooting Stars defender Ayodeji Bamidele

Ayodeji Bamidele may soon move to Africa after Zambian club Zesco United started discussions about signing him. The 26-year-old defender currently plays for Shooting Stars in Nigeria's top football league. Sources from Zambia report that Zesco United wants him to sign a two-year deal. Bamidele played regularly for his Nigerian team during the recent season. The center-back has caught attention from teams outside his home country.

Bamidele brings international playing experience to any future transfer talks. He previously spent time with Croatian team HNK Rijeka before returning to Nigeria. The defender also represented Nigeria at youth level competitions. He played for his country's under-17 national team during his younger years. His background shows he can adapt to different football environments.

The defender wants another chance to play outside Nigeria after his Croatian experience. Zesco United competes in Zambia's Super League and sees him as a valuable addition. The club believes his defensive skills would strengthen their squad for upcoming competitions. Bamidele must decide whether to accept their contract proposal. His decision could shape his career path for the next two seasons.
