ZICOSU students beg for Mnangagwa farm field trip

Tertiary students from the Zimbabwe Congress of Students' Union have requested a meeting with President Mnangagwa at his Precabe Farm in Kwekwe to study agricultural innovation and leadership methods. National President Kudzai Murombedzi made the appeal during a strategic seminar at Bulawayo Polytechnic focused on sustainable tourism and hospitality education aligned with Vision 2030 objectives. Deputy Tourism Minister Tongai Mnangagwa agreed to arrange the visit for approximately 120 students who want direct engagement with the head of state.

The seminar brought together hospitality students from multiple institutions to develop leadership capabilities for the national economy. Deputy Minister Mnangagwa recognized the educational value of connecting young professionals with experienced leadership at the model farm that has hosted several foreign heads of state. The planned visit aims to expose students to advanced agricultural technology and presidential perspectives on national development strategies.
