Zimbabwe and Zambia Stay United as One

Zimbabwe and Zambia share a special bond that runs deep. The countries need to work closer in business, politics, and education. This message came from Mr. Batuke Imenda, who leads Zambia's main political party. He talked with President Mnangagwa at the State House in Harare yesterday. His trip helped build stronger links between both countries and their ruling parties.

The visit happened because Zimbabwe sent people to Zambia two years ago. After meeting the President, Mr. Imenda spoke about how these nations connect through history. Both places were once joined under British rule as parts of a federation. Mr. Imenda believes their friendship must grow even after gaining freedom. The two political parties have promised to support each other through hard times.

Mr. Imenda thinks both countries should respect each other and never interfere in private matters. He wants more trading between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Education matters a lot in their partnership. Right now, about 6,000 students from Zimbabwe learn at Zambian schools. Mr. Imenda praised President Mnangagwa for making time to see him before flying to Uganda.

The President heard about their visit to party headquarters and asked to meet them briefly. Mr. Imenda felt honored by this welcome. He said his team came because Zimbabwe visited them first. During talks, they discussed people who break laws in one country and hide in the other, creating problems both nations want to fix.

Zimbabwe works with parties that hold power in other countries. Both sides plan to meet often and solve any issues that come up. Many members of the Zambian party liked this idea. The meeting shows how these neighbors want to help each other grow. Several important officials joined the talks, including Zimbabwe's Ambassador to Zambia and government ministers.
