Zimbabwe cricket humiliated, South Africa crushes Chevrons at Queens

South Africa crushed Zimbabwe's cricket team at Queens Sports Club on Tuesday. The visitors needed just three days to win the second Test match. Zimbabwe lost the game by innings and 236 runs after getting hammered completely. South Africa scored a massive 626 runs before declaring their innings closed. Zimbabwe managed only 170 runs and 220 runs across their two attempts at batting.

The home team looked completely out of their depth against the South African bowlers. Wiaan Mulder became the star performer for the visitors with his record-breaking score of 367 runs. The 26-year-old all-rowhile earned Player of the Series honors for his amazing batting display. Zimbabwe's total runs added up to just 390 across both innings. Mulder alone scored nearly as many runs as the entire Zimbabwe team combined.

Zimbabwe coach Justin Sammons admitted his players were not good enough for international cricket. The coach said his team went backwards compared to previous series against Bangladesh and England. Sammons blamed fatigue from playing five Test matches back to back. The players tried their best but could not execute their plans properly. South Africa coach Shukri Conrad praised his team for maintaining high standards despite missing seven regular players.

Zimbabwe must bounce back quickly as they face South Africa and New Zealand in a T20 series starting Monday. The team has little time to recover from this brutal defeat. Questions remain about Zimbabwe's readiness for top-level international cricket competition.
