Zimbabwe Unleashes Wild U20 Squad for COSAFA Cup

Simon Marange takes charge of Zimbabwe's COSAFA Cup team. The under-20 coach steps up because Michael Nees travels to Morocco with senior players. Nees leads the main squad for friendly matches against Burkina Faso and Niger. These games happen on June 6 and June 10. Marange guides the younger players during this tournament period.

The COSAFA Cup runs from June 4 through June 15 in South Africa. Bloemfontein hosts all tournament matches at various stadiums. Zimbabwe faces tough opponents in the Group A competition. South Africa, Mauritius, and Mozambique complete their group. The Warriors open against Mauritius on June 4.

Andrew Mbeta from Highlanders leads the squad as team captain. Three goalkeepers made the final roster for the competition. Eight defenders will protect Zimbabwe's goal during matches. Eight midfielders control the center of the field. Six forwards aim to score goals against African opponents.
