Empty Vessel raised 11 million dollars for their first game called DEFECT. The studio was started by people who worked at id Software and other major game companies. These developers helped make famous games like Doom, The Last of Us, Call of Duty, Borderlands, and Uncharted. The new money came from a series A funding round that just finished. NCSOFT, 1AM Gaming, and Black Phoenix Games led the investment.
