ngeyi uchiramba

Definition: explain why you are refusing or why are you in denial?

Note: this catchphrase is often used by Panganai Java (aka Passion Java or Prophet Twabam).

Sometimes members belonging to the ZANU-PF political party in the Republic of Zimbabwe use this catchphrase too as a means to persuade other opposition Zimbos to join the ruling party.

An alternative version of this catchphrase is neyi uchiramba and that's pretty much a Zezuru way of saying it.

I should also mention that the word "ngeyi" is derived from ChiManyika (i.e., another Shona dialect that is widely spoken in Manicaland province located on the east side of the country next to Mozambique).

Otherwise, I think I am done here. Umm, yeah. Anyway bye!
