600000 Fans Flood Ticketmaster for NFL's Irish Debut

Over 600,000 fans joined the Ticketmaster waiting line for NFL tickets at Croke Park during September. Pittsburgh Steelers face Minnesota Vikings at Dublin's famous stadium on Sunday September 28th. The online ticket sale started at 12pm Tuesday after the waiting room opened at 11am. Frustrated supporters watched the queue move slowly throughout the afternoon. Secondary websites began selling tickets at inflated prices immediately after the sale began.

Ireland hosts its first regular season NFL game at the historic GAA venue this autumn. Cheapest tickets cost €85 for Category 7 seats located at the upper Davin Stand level. Category 6 positions also sit at the upper Davin Stand and cost €100 each. Hill 16 and Nally Stand receive temporary seating installations for the American football contest. These special sections charge €250 per ticket for the historic sporting event.

Premium Category 1 seats at centrefield lower Cusack and Hogan stands command €295 per ticket. Category 2 tickets cost €275 and sit at lower Cusack or Hogan sections and upper centrefield areas. Children pay reduced prices at Category 5 sections for €75 and Category 7 areas for €42.50. Restricted view seats offer lower prices across multiple categories throughout the stadium. Mid-level tiers remain reserved exclusively for premium ticket holders during the contest.
