Abidjan launches Tradepost, ECOWAS e-commerce gets a digital boost

Abidjan launched a digital trade project called Tradepost, aiming to create a West African e-commerce hub. The event was overseen by a cabinet manager, Assoua Raymond, representing the digital ministry.

This platform intends to simplify cross-border business for Ivorian companies. Its goals are faster customs processing and lower logistics costs. Officials claim it will help local businesses reach wider markets.

A related regional workshop is also happening. It gathers stakeholders to discuss economic integration across the ECOWAS bloc. The focus is on sharing strategies for digital trade growth.
