WE-Elevate goes global, DCO dares women to rule e-commerce

The Digital Cooperation Organization expanded its WE-Elevate program to all member nations during the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The initiative supports women-led small and medium enterprises through digital skills training. Rwanda served as the pilot location and demonstrated positive outcomes for participating businesses.

The program combines online education modules with mentorship opportunities and global e-commerce platform access. Female entrepreneurs learn to transition their operations from traditional methods to digital platforms. Training covers basic digital readiness through advanced cross-border commerce techniques.

WE-Elevate helps formalize business operations while expanding customer reach and creating sustainable employment opportunities. The organization positions this expansion as advancing gender equality and economic growth goals. Applications opened for eligible enterprises across all member states to participate in the transformation process.
